From the moment we stepped into the apartment, we were blown away by how well equipped it was. The cozy atmosphere and warmth instantly made us feel at home. The fact that we could bring our two small dogs and there was ample room for their crates was a huge plus. We loved exploring the beautiful garden with our furry friends. The apartment's location was perfect – close enough to all the breathtaking sights in the area, yet tucked away in a peaceful rural setting for a good night's sleep. The value for money was exceptional, and we appreciated the honesty bar. The grounds were stunning and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The host, Tom, was incredibly friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to entertain our grandchildren. The peacefulness of the place contrasting with its proximity to popular attractions like Clara Lara, Brittas Bay, and Greenane Maze made it an unforgettable experience. We can't wait to come back!

Particularly good and marvellous location close enough to clara lara, the surrounding area and beautiful surroundings, everything great. Amiable and helpful staff, and the best host ever. Excellent service too. Rooms in the downstairs bedroom which was fine. Generous breakfasts. Cosy place for great price.

The scenery was absolutely stunning, with jaw-dropping views all around. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The apartment itself was lovely and cosy, with a rustic cabin-like feel. We had a blast playing darts, it was great fun. The apartment was very warm and cozy, perfect for a winter getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We had everything we needed in the well-equipped kitchen, including an electric kettle for our tea and coffee. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. The nearby woodland walk was a beautiful addition to our stay. The free wi-fi in the rooms and free parking were convenient amenities. We also appreciated the use of the dryer, picnic area, playpen, and board games. It was great that pets were allowed and there were designated smoking areas. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back if given the chance.

The breakfast option could have been better, maybe adding some more variety would be nice.

It felt like staying in a winter log cabin abroad!

The cottage had a lovely and cozy atmosphere, perfect for a romantic escape. the pine second floor added a charming touch to the place. the double bed in the downstairs room was comfortable, and it was convenient to have a bathroom nearby. We also enjoyed the fact that we were able to bring our dog along, making our trip even more enjoyable.
There were a few downsides to our stay. the water temperature in the taps and shower was scalding hot and couldn't be adjusted properly.

Our recent stay at Birchdale Apartment was pleasant and affordable. The grounds were beautiful and our daughter loved playing by the stream and pond. Despite a few inconveniences such as the difficulty in controlling the heating and the lack of Sky channels, we found the location to be convenient and the overall quality reasonable for the price. I would recommend this place for a budget-friendly stay in a lovely setting.
